A Randolph man has been sentenced to five years in federal prison for possessing and transporting child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Kesler Xavier Saget, 44, received the sentence from U.S. District Court Judge Allison D. Burroughs and will also serve five years of supervised release following his prison term. Saget pleaded guilty in June 2025 to charges of transporting and possessing child pornography after being arrested in August 2024.
Authorities reported that on August 7, 2024, Saget arrived at Boston Logan International Airport from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. During a border screening, agents discovered CSAM on his phone. Saget admitted to having such material on his device and said he had received it through various chat groups. Investigators also found evidence that Saget had made payments for access to CSAM.
United States Attorney Leah B. Foley and Michael J. Krol, Special Agent in Charge of Homeland Security Investigations in New England, announced the sentencing. The investigation received assistance from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Brian Sullivan of the Major Crimes Unit prosecuted the case.
“This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse, launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice.
