A woman from Dracut, Massachusetts, has been charged with allegedly leaking information from a federal grand jury to unauthorized individuals. Jessica M. Leslie, 34, was charged with one count of criminal contempt on Friday, July 11, 2025. She has agreed to plead guilty and is set to appear in federal court in Boston at a later date. The plea hearing has not yet been scheduled.

The charging document states that between August 11, 2022, and March 4, 2024, Leslie disclosed sealed information including the names of witnesses appearing before a federal grand jury, details of their testimony, and other evidence presented to the grand jury. This disclosure violated Federal Rules and a court order.

The charge of criminal contempt carries a potential sentence of any term of years in prison, five years of supervised release, and a fine up to $250,000. Sentences are determined by a federal district court judge based on U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and relevant statutes.

United States Attorney Leah B. Foley and Ted E. Docks, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Boston office made the announcement. Assistant U.S. Attorney Anne Paruti is prosecuting the case.

“The details contained in the charging documents are allegations,” stated officials involved in the case. “The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.”
