The Justices of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court announced on Mar. 23 that they are seeking applications from attorneys interested in serving a four-year term on the Board of Bar Overseers.

The announcement is significant because the Board plays an important role in adjudicating disciplinary charges against attorneys, helping to maintain ethical standards within the legal profession. The Board consists of twelve volunteer members and operates under rules set by the Supreme Judicial Court.
