A Lynn man involved in a large-scale drug trafficking organization on the North Shore of Massachusetts has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison. Deiby Felix, 41, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Patti B. Saris following his guilty plea in February 2025 to charges including possession with intent to manufacture and distribute significant quantities of fentanyl and methamphetamine.
The investigation began in July 2023 after an overdose death in Salem linked authorities to the drug trafficking organization led by Felix, along with Emilio Garcia and Sebastien Bejin. On November 1, 2023, searches at four locations in Lynn resulted in a major seizure of narcotics, including nine kilograms of fentanyl-laced pills shaped like candy.
Authorities seized over 75 kilograms of fentanyl and methamphetamine during the investigation, alongside cocaine and cutting agents such as xylazine. The total estimated street value of the drugs seized is upwards of $8 million.
Felix’s residence contained over three kilograms of pressed pills containing methamphetamine and fentanyl, a firearm, and a clandestine drug laboratory. Multiple industrial pill presses and other manufacturing equipment were also recovered.
Sebastien Bejin received a sentence of 12 years in May 2025, while Emilio Garcia was sentenced to 18 years that same month. Both sentences include five years of supervised release following imprisonment.
The announcement was made by United States Attorney Leah B. Foley; Ted E. Docks from the FBI Boston office; Colonel Geoffrey D. Noble from the Massachusetts State Police; and Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker. Assistance came from various local police departments and the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. Assistant U.S. Attorney Philip A. Mallard prosecuted the case.
