A Guatemalan national residing unlawfully in Springfield, Massachusetts, has been charged with illegal reentry into the United States after deportation. Noe Yonildo Ambrocio-Perez, 38, known by several aliases including “Noe Perez” and “Rodolfo Lopez Velasquez,” faces one count of unlawful reentry of a deported alien. He was arrested on July 3, 2025, and remains in federal custody following an initial court appearance.

Court documents reveal that Ambrocio-Perez has illegally entered the U.S. multiple times since first being encountered by immigration authorities in 2002 under the alias “Rodolfo Lopez-Velazquez.” After his initial voluntary removal, he allegedly reentered the country and faced several arrests for various offenses, including assault and battery in 2008 and motor vehicle violations over subsequent years.

In 2012, Ambrocio-Perez was arrested for erratic driving and later convicted of motor vehicle crimes. Following his release from state custody, he failed to appear for immigration proceedings and was ordered removed to Guatemala in absentia. Despite this order, he allegedly returned to the U.S., leading to further arrests in Florida for driving offenses.

Ambrocio-Perez’s latest arrest occurred in May 2025 after a vehicular incident in Springfield. The charge of unlawful reentry carries a potential sentence of up to ten years imprisonment, three years supervised release, and a fine up to $250,000. Deportation is expected upon completion of any imposed sentence.

The announcement was made by United States Attorney Leah B. Foley alongside Patricia H. Hyde from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations in Boston. Assistant U.S. Attorney Steven H. Breslow is prosecuting the case.

The allegations outlined are not proof of guilt; Ambrocio-Perez is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.
