A Brazilian national residing in Brighton, Massachusetts, has been arrested and charged with illegal reentry into the United States after deportation. Fagner Storck, also known as “Tiago Santos,” aged 41, faces one count of unlawful reentry of a deported alien. He appeared in federal court in Boston on July 1, 2025. The Court is considering the matter of detention following a hearing.
According to court documents and statements made publicly, Storck was initially removed from the U.S. in 2015. It is alleged that he reentered the country illegally after his removal and was subsequently deported back to Brazil in April 2021. Allegations state that he entered the U.S. illegally for a third time thereafter.
Storck has prior convictions for domestic violence offenses, including a 2017 conviction for assault and battery on a family or household member, strangulation/suffocation, and intimidation; as well as a 2020 conviction for assault and battery on a family or household member. In 2023, he was arrested on state charges of kidnapping and assaulting a pregnant woman. These incidents have led to restraining orders against him by three different women.
Court records indicate that Storck has at least four motor vehicle violations related to driving with a suspended license.
The charge of unlawful reentry carries a potential sentence of up to 20 years in prison, three years of supervised release, and fines up to $250,000. Upon completion of any imposed sentence, Storck may face deportation again. Sentencing decisions are made by federal district court judges based on U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and relevant statutes.
The announcement was made by United States Attorney Leah B. Foley along with Patricia H. Hyde from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations in Boston. Assistant U.S. Attorney Jessica L. Soto from the Major Crimes Unit is handling prosecution with help from Student Attorney Brendan J. Brosnihan.
It should be noted that details within charging documents are allegations at this stage; Storck remains presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt in court.
