Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell has responded to the resignation of Ava Callendar Concepcion from the Cannabis Control Commission.

In a statement, Campbell said, “Commissioner Concepcion has dedicated her career to social justice and brought a wealth of experience in public safety, equity and opportunity to her nearly five years on the Cannabis Control Commission. I am grateful to Commissioner Concepcion for her public service and wish her and her family the very best as she embarks on the next chapter.”

Concepcion was appointed in 2021 to fill the public safety seat on the commission.
